This private luxury villa in Antigua commands a stunning location and beautiful panoramic views. Antigua is one of the most popular islands in the Caribbean with a beach for each day of the year.
This luxury 5 bedroom villa allows you to indulge yourself in luxury, from the enormous four poster bed in the master bedroom to the 50 foot infinity pool; from the sculptures in the rooms to the hi-tech appliances; from the 600 thread sheets on the beds to the 20ft height of the airy reception areas.
Beyond all that are the views. Breathtaking is an over-used phrase. But even on this island of picture postcard vistas, the double views - azure seas one on side and a Norwegian-type fjord to the other - really do combine to take your breath away. We challenge you not to be amazed!
The Villa stands in just under an acre of grounds, with 5 bedrooms sleeping 11 people, huge living space and a very large pool. It has all modern amenities, allowing you to choose whether to unwind away from the world or to remain very much in touch whilst you laze by the pool.
Luxury Villa Accommodation
The 5 bedroom luxury villa consists of a Master Bedroom: An enormous triple aspect room with a huge four poster bed (super-king). The theme is cream and calm, with views towards Green Island – one of Antigua’s gems – or towards a Norwegian-type fjord.
The other four bedrooms are spacious light and take advantage of the villa's commanding position. Fabrics on the curtains and bedspreads capture the mood of the Caribbean.
The Designer Kitchen combines the best in European contemporary living with a well thought out practical aspect. Its lime green and black high-gloss units from Italy create a thoroughly modern feel, whilst the Jenn-Air oven, hob and American fridge provide the latest high tech appliances. The kitchen is well equipped and even the plates and glasses match the theme – glass plates in black and green add an air of sophistication to even the simplest meals
The Reception Room is both an indoor and an outdoor area. The huge sliding doors (almost 20 feet wide each) can be fully opened to create an enormous space which encompasses the verandas to the east and west. The space is interior designed to the highest specification.
There are Designers Guild sofas with matching floor furnishings, niches carved from the walls with sculptures created by European artists and glass vases which complement the colour scheme. A flat screen 42" TV allows guests to watch cable television or films in high definition. To ensure you have the option of remaining in touch with what's going on internationally, the villa also has broadband, via fixed line or Wi-Fi.
To relax, there are deck chairs as well as a decadent hammock. For sun worshippers, half the space is uncovered, whilst for those more keen on sitting out of the sun, there is plenty of shade. A breeze blows in from the Ocean, allowing guests to stay cool at even the hottest time of day. If the wind becomes too strong, the West Veranda is completely still, whatever the weather.
The villa has two Verandas: East Veranda - This large semi-circular centre-piece of the villa is where many choose to spend their time. It stretches from the kitchen to the master bedroom suite (over 100 feet in length). The mesmeric views towards Green Island and the constantly shifting light on the water offer a spectacular backdrop. For meals, there is a large table, directly in front of the kitchen.
West Veranda - This outside space is an oasis of tranquility. With remarkable views onto the fjord, it is the ideal place to sit with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. A pair of solid oak tables invite you to eat, play cards and generally to make the most of this remarkable outside space. Again, the area is split between shade and direct sun
Water sports are available as part of the local development as well as tennis. For those looking for a bit of adrenalin, kite surfing conditions are ideal at Green Island. There is also sailing lessons available locally on a fleet of Dragons. Walking is also popular on the island.
The capital St John's is half an hour away. Here the vast cruise ships pull in to allow guests to enjoy duty free shopping ranging from well stocked jewellery shops to clothing boutiques and plenty of shops devoted to local artifacts. Beware though - it is easy part with a large amount of money in a very short space of time!
